DO NOT GET THEM FROM OFF THE HOOK. We bought two sacks last Sunday that were"medium to large" she said and not one was larger than my little finger. We trusted them, they failed and that sucked cuz I had bought lots stuff from them when they first started and were on TD.

Living in Houston, I order mine from a place that picks them up in Erath and delivers them to me. This weekend we are paying 2.95 lbs. A week ago they were 2.50.

Thanks for the replies. Typically I avoid crawfish this weekend, but Saturday is my mom's birthday and she is wanting crawfish. So I will splurge this Easter weekend.

Yop can't judge a crawfish supplier by the product on one frigging day. My contacts up here get great crawfish...very high quality. BUT, last weekend the catch sold to them wasn't large or healthy...soft crawfish with too much loss.. Good Lord, don't bash a place over a less than stellar quality of crawfish on one visit.

Dis is true. They get what the farmer gives them.

She states he has been there many times

As for bashing them.. They know the size they are getting. If they get small in that week then fine but CALL THEM SMALL. Why is that such a hard thing to do? At the prices people are paying for just 2 sacks of crawfish I would certainly not blame the guy if he never went back.

This too is true. I missed the part about them calling them med. to large. I know a guy who sells in Laffy and he gets some from a distributor who gets them from several farmers. It kind of goes sack to sack as far as the size.

Fred, where do you get yours from? Been looking for a good supplier.

Thanks!
