What's your mom's best recipe?

Besides her stuffed artichokes, I've seen people fight over this simple recipe.
quote:
For each pack of Macaroni you need:
1 pk of Long #7 Macaroni
1 stick of butter
1 cup of milk
1 egg (whipped)
1 lb of Velveeta cheese(box) (grated)
Boil macaroni.
Place cook macaroni in baking pan.
In separate pot, boil milk, add butter, add cheese (continue to stir so it does not burn) add whipped egg and continue to stir to it is all mixed up.
Take off heat.
Pour mixture over macaroni and make sure it mixed well in between macaroni
Bake @ 350* degree for about 45 minutes
I think the secret is the egg.

The hell?
Arse, I never asked my mom for recipes, but that woman can cook. So I don't single out one of her great dinners, I'll say her chess cake (I'm sure yall call it something different). Again, wasted post since I don't know her recipes, but damn.
I keep telling my wife to ask my mom for some of her stuff, but she's too stubborn and likes to do her own thing. She cooks well too, but not like mama.

What's wrong with this thread?

I have a book of my grandmother's recipes. She's the best cook in the family. My only complaint is that her cursive is tough to read. My bro and I have been trying to type them out before she leaves this earth.

Diabetes might take you before her

People think it's a joke because the recipe he posted was a simple Mac and cheese recipe
My mom is a terrible cook. Of course I would never tell her that. She makes a pretty good roast though

Maybe. She's been run over by a bus and come back from a stroke.

Simple but amazing. I'll try to make it this weekend. I'll post pics. People say it's like Rocky's.

My mom cooks many great thing, however the best thing I ever ate came from my dad. He made the best smoked chicken Ive ever eaten. Brined it overnight, and then put on his own rub. It was absolutely fantastic.

I can agree with this. I make the recipe similar to yours, but I add browned onions and subtract the egg, and bake it till it gets brown around the edges. It's widely popular with the folks I've made it for
