I can't find an avocado oil dressing that I like. All have this weird metallic taste to me.

We would die very quickly without sodium. Table salt is only 40% sodium and the stupid daily recommended amt of sodium is way low, especially for the vast majority of people without a specific hypertension risk and especially if we are eating correctly. Most people probably don't get enough salt. It's just that most people are getting their salt in and on really shitty foods.

But the abundance of refined sugar is what is killing us

Yep. Also the amount of milk that we drink in this country. Just about every other country on earth weens their kids off cow's milk by the time they are 6-7 years old. Also we consume a lot of starchy foods.

When I lived in France, it was unheard of for adults to drink a glass of milk , etc.. But, an old Frenchman told me the real reason we are so fat here in the states is the manner and time of the day that we have our major meal. In France, lunch was the big meal of the day and the lunch break was about 2 hours long.....you worked later into the day. It was not unusual to break of around 6:30 - 7:00 on average each day. Supper was simple and never heavy - a soup or a small plate of meat with green vegetables.

Cheese is filled with fat sodium and cholesterol. The approved portions are considerable small in comparison to peoples normal intake

Also not bad. I eat them every week. No additives. Natural unprocessed fat and salt.

I have a perfect 1:1 triglycerides:HDL ratio and LDL and inflammation profiles.

This is so completely nonsensical it's hard to know where to start. I'll try: first, the dietary - blood cholesterol hypothesis was debunked decades ago, so cross that part off completely. Then read up on the latest research even on blood cholesterol levels--it is becoming evident that cholesterol of any sort isn't the actual culprit in CVD.

Sodium: see my other post and the huge sodium study published last year, showing 5g a day of sodium (+ remember table salt is only 40% sodium) to be optimal in the vast majority of people. And that's without an enhanced electrolyte-shedding diet. And approved by whom?

Also, show me a person who got fat off cheese (without high-sugar diet).

You can actually eat a bunch of cheese and not get fat. Just don't eat with something like bread.

Depends on what "fried shite" you are talking about. But bread and pasta are, in fact, horrific for you.

what is it like going through life being so butt hurt?

It was a joke idiot. Anyone with a high school education knows about the Renaissance. Or if you were as smart as you think you are, keep digging back further and find their contributions to warfare and the ancient Greeks. It goes a lot further than art and cars and actually much deeper into warfare and brutality which influence throughout all of Europe and for millenniums.

looks it isnt the bread
It's the bread.

The sugar doesn't help, but the grains themselves are what is bad for you.

interesting. i wonder if it's a genetic thing like cilantro. i sort of know what you're talking about but it has never bothered me.

the avocado dressings are super expensive anyway. i usually stick to good olive oil ones. or just olive oil, parmesan, lemon, seasoning, and a little vinegar

This is probably the most dangerous for people because it’s not a food (so theydown them all day long) and people don’t realize how much sugar is in them. For an average adult, a 12 oz can is more than half of all the sugar you should be taking in daily.

Trying to kick the habit myself. I’ve been on a 12 oz can/day routine for a couple years now on and off.

I can't imagine going through life so hung up on politics like this. Every single one of them is a slimy bastard.
