Do mayonnaise hardliners ask what kind of mayo a restaurant uses when they order a sandwich, burger or something?

If they did, the answer would likely be Sysco Heavy Duty Mayonnaise. It’s why a lot of recipes taken from restaurants are hard to recreate at home.

No, I mean the topic, "What's the OT's favorite brand of mayonaisse?"

Not some shite about a restaurant provided mayo you hijacked the thread about.

Carry on fella.

Maybe I got an off jar, but the one time I bought blue plate it had a funky taste I did not enjoy.

I typically buy Dukes.

Blue Plate.

Dukes if Blue Plate is not an option.

Beyond that I will eschew mayo altogether.

Right. And people say XXX is the only brand I eat! It's XXX and no other! Which begs the obvious and pertinent question, what do such strong Mayo opinionated people do at restaurants? I don't think there could possibly be a better thread for it actually.

Duke's
Duke's dominates the southern U.S. market except around New Orleans for obvious reasons.

Whichever is cheapest. No discernible difference between them.

Grew up in a Blue Plate household in Baton Rouge, but Dukes is the best.
