I've enjoyed many great beers thanks to the kindness of the Krewe and met some great people. I've also gotten pretty drunk because of them. Y'all are good people, Krewe - except that one guy. You know who you are.

Those threads are what first started catching my eye for good beer. I remember I would specifically go look for the beers he featured in the Friday threads 10+ years ago

Be cautious, getting involved with the FBD is a slippery slope.

My first foray into meeting FBDers was trading beers with tetu at the Exit 121 Welcome Center around 10:30 at night. Next thing I know I’m smoking weed in the cleanest garden shed I’ve ever seen and trading beers for a place to sleep after shares.

I traded pounds of herbs with an FBDer in the Calandros parking lot. I'm talking basil, and rosemary, and fennel, and oregano.

Not going to lie, I got a lecture before I went and had to bring 'protection' just incase.

That FBDer moved to NYC and was replaced by a slow dauchsand a few years later.

He was pretty though.

I’m happy to have started posting and meeting some of you all this past year!

It’s been super fun cataloging the beers I drink, sharing with others, and making my first couple of trades.

I lurk it every day for beers to try and see what I've tried. I need to add start adding mine to the list because I'm not around La anymore. I've seen some of the beers from the Carolinas and Georgia that I really like.
