We used there a lot when I was kid bc it was cheap and my parents didnt make much money.
My wife refuses to eat there now but I finally convinced her one weekend to try the breakfast buffet out. Breakfast was ok, but the same people you describe are there at breakfast too. And the little kids are going nuts on the desserts even at breakfast

I’m not entirely sure, but I think the last time I ate at a Golden Corral was around 1996. It was in Center Point and it was long enough ago that Center Point was still relatively safe, though starting to slide into ghetto.
