I got mine off the market place during covid. As others have said it takes work to maintain the fire and temp but I love the challenge. Also, someone said it was better for short cooks because of that and I would agree. But I have smoked some damn fine ribs, turkey, skirt steak, salmon, etc on my OKJ.

We went several years ago and it is beautiful as advertised. Buy your shuttle bus tickets to Maraine Lake, Lake Louise, etc as soon as you can. Also, plan to start your days early. Even in June it's crowded. There are tons of great hikes but our favorite was hiking up to the Plain of the Six Glaciers Tea House.
