Juicy juicy raouls and Willie’s are solid.
Both have good fries too but I’d give raouls the win overall.

A little drive out to Livonia to The Crawfish Hole on 190. Best shrimp poboy around.

Tramonte's, Acme, Poboy Express, or Parrain's for fried.
Goodwood grill has a great grilled shrimp poboy.

Need to advise him he needs a styrofoam minnow bucket with iced beer on passenger floorboard to make this run - like the old days.

Save More Gas Satation on corner of Stumberg and Coursey if you want something to go. Very cheap and really good. A 16 inch fried shrimp poboy on great bread for like $10.

Save more and Poboy express are both horrible

These two aren’t in the same league IMO. Poboy express is over priced and their bread isn’t what I would normally call poboy bread. Save More is pretty legit and has great bread and is a hell of a value.

Then don’t eat it. Cook a few fried shrimp at home and tell me what that cost? Grease alone will drown you. The product is good and reasonable in today’s world. Don’t like it don’t do it.

Go to Carter's in LP on Friday. Buy some leidenheimer rolls or French bread, however much fried shrimp from their deli and whatever you need to go on top. Toast the bread, assemble and enjoy a shrimp poboy that's better than any I've had in BR. $25 feeds 2 teenage boys or 3-4 normal people and I don't get hit up for 15% on a to go order.
They use gulf shrimp that taste fresh caught, pretty sure they are IGF though. Light years better than imported shrimp.

Maxwell's Market is the only one in town that I actually crave. The rest of you in this thread have questionable tastes
Po-Boy Express? For real? Jeez.

George's Southside is the best.
