What’s the best meal and best dessert you’ve ever had and where was it?

Meal: Tuna dish at French market bistro with carrots, edamame, cilantro and soy vinaigrette. It was yum!

Dessert: white chocolate bread pudding from Mr B’s

Idk about best meal but the best appetizer I ever ate was a smoked tuna belly at a Japanese restaurant in Little Rock called Kemuris.

The best brownie I’ve ever had was at Hazel Mountain Chocolate in Ireland

The best meal - well - hopefully I haven’t had it yet

Le Bernardin in NYC is my best meal to date.

No idea what my best dessert is. I'm very fond of crepes suzette so probably those somewhere.

Friend,

Last night’s meal at Impastato’s was as close to perfect as a non-Eucharistic meal can be.

The best dessert I’ve had, besides my favorite chocolate chip cookie cakes, was a homemade mint ice cream at Chalet Brandt in Baton Rouge two decades ago.

Yours,

I really enjoyed a pumpkin ravioli with Bolognese sauce at a restaurant in Ferrara, Italy. Their hazelnut mousse with caramel sauce for dessert was amazing.

My wife’s pies, tarts, cinnamon rolls, and cakes are amazing, so most restaurant desserts are disappointing.

Y’all will laugh, but I had a pork tenderloin with shiitake mushrooms dish at the Ox Bow in New Roads back in the 90’s that was amazing. Probably not actually my best meal ever, but probably most memorable because of how pleasantly surprised I was.

I’m not a dessert person.
