What would entice you to buy from Omaha Steaks?

I’ve been gifted them two or three times. In my opinion you can get the same quality meat at your local piggly wiggly/Winn Dixie. Bacon wrapped filets are weird to me. I absolutely love bacon, and I absolutely love filets but I just want salt, pepper, garlic, and butter on my steaks. They’re definitely over priced impulse buy but easy gifts. I’ll eat it again tomorrow but I’m not buying from them if I have other options.

Is it all frozen?

I've been gifted boxes a couple of times, steaks chops and chicken breasts. I prefer to buy from the grocery store

Yes, but so is the majority of the meat you buy at every grocery store, at some point anyway.

You are correct sir. Most beef is wet aged in cryovacs, but some is frozen. Omaha Steaks are all shipped frozen.

If you're interested in good mail order steaks, look into Snake River Farms.

I have some friends that I'd consider steak connoisseurs and they've been swearing by them. Wagyu if that means anything to you.

Just glancing, it looks pretty darn pricey. Maybe a good gift idea?

My mom got them a ton when I was a kid. Burgers and Filets mostly.

It was good before I knew there was way better meat out there. It is acceptable to eat it if you don't have alternatives IMO or as said earlier if you want the ease of having it delivered etc.

I was never blown away by the samplers I've gotten

Is there an Omaha steak restaurant? Lol
