Had some really sweet fresh Tennessee sweet corn. Grilled Bone in Ribeye's and Free Range Chickens on my Big Green Egg.
Brought back some new seasonings from my Calif trip and tried this recipe I found that turned out really good!
Harissa Grilled Chicken over Hardwood.

Didn't eat much but I made a chicken salad from a recipe Gris Gris gave me that was really good. Put it on ciabatta which was a mistake though. Also had some good deviled eggs and lots and lots of beers.

Oh, I also bought some terrific looking creole tomatoes and grabbed some fresh mozz. Sliced it all up and ate it with a little salt and pepper. Delicious.

Chili. I even mixed some leftovers with my eggs this morning.

Glad the chick salad was good. I don't put that recipe on bread, though. It's really more of a entree by itself. For a sandwich, I do the more traditional with onion, celery, chicken, mayo, salt and pepper. No fancy stuff.

I already posted this once, but MR filet mignon with blue cheese butter and grilled asparagus topped with parmesan cheese.
And yes, that is a perfect medium rare.

Well I also had a several fork fulls of it just by itself along with some Zapps.

I get it at Neiman Marcus when I'm in Dallas or Fort Worth. I go there specifically for lunch. It's served with fresh fruit, those popups with strawberry butter, their starter of a demi of chicken stock, a mini muffin and mandarin orange souffle...a fine warm weather lunch or anytime, if you're me!
