1.Curbside
2.Akasha
3.Burgersmith

While I've never had a burger from riverside I got the roast beef poboy, thinking it would be something like a New Orleans style poboy with all the sloppy goodness. I was handed a deli sliced roast beef sandwich similar to what you would find in the packaged cold cuts section and maybe a dollop of gravy.

Just had a Fat Cow Smoke house and it was very good.
BurgerSmith a few weeks ago and though it was good as well but their fries were much better than Fat Cow's fries that were soggy and sucked.

Bistro Byronz would round out my top three and I would give Masons cajun shrimp burger an honorable mention.

Definitely not fat cow. Yes, the smokehouse is good because all of the toppings but the burger itself sucks.

I'm gonna go with, in no particular order.

Smith, Akasha, George's (although I will never eat there again)

Honorable mention is The bypass from pluckers. Dunk it in ranch and tear it up.

Also, I should add I haven't had Mason's yet and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few of my favorite spots.

Portobello's Red Stick burger
Byronz Bistro bleu cheese burger
J Alexander's burger

To be fair, I haven't tried Fleming's burger yet. I hear it's fantastic.

Red Stick Burger at Portobello's
The Londoner

I know it gets hate on here, but I think The Times makes a great burger as does Tramonte's.

I agree with that statement...except the Bacon Cheese Burger.

TJ Ribs Wings > Hooters

Riverside Patty used to get my vote...but I have had George's, Mason's, Brew Bacher's, etc...and Hooters Bacon Cheese Burger is the best

I like Riverside a lot. I'm boycotting George's, they'd be about 6-7 range for me. Never had Mason's. Brew Bachers is a step above a fast food burger...gray, flavorless, poorly topped.

I would put burgersmith below fast food, because it was the worst burger I had in years, and I eat a lot of burgers.

Honorable Mention: Every now and then I love to get the mongo burger from Cheeburger Cheeburger with about 20 toppings and scarf it while I'm watching a movie or something.

eta: I realize that hating on Cheeburger Cheeburger is de rigeur on this board, but sometimes that monstrosity hits the spot.

Curbside would be higher if I had not ordered reg fries with it, those are some greasy fries, that skewed my bias. I might hit them again this week and try the specialty fries.

I know there are a lot of people here who launch invectives at anyone who doesn't agree with them 100%, before you do remember one thing, maturity is a one day at a time thing, give it a chance.
