I love how you throw all the brands out there
I am brand specific myself.
I have to be. I can do Borden milk but can't eat any other mayonnaise and the Cooks hams are killer. I buy them at Albertsons when they are on sale and cook them myself. Just like the flavor.
Bunny white bread is the only white bread to eat.

My ole man used to work for Holsum for 33 years and he would bring a fresh loaf of bread home everyday.
It kills him that I buy only Bunny now.
eta:What the hell ever happen to Holsum Honeybuns???

What is your favorite type of sandwich?
such a difficult question
maybe a cuban, or a roast beef poboy, or a shrimp poboy, or a PB&J...I can't decide

at home:
1. BLT on bunny bread, blue plate mayo, fresh summer tomato, real bacon cooked in a cast iron skillet.
2. grilled cheese
restaurant/shop
1. Fiore's fresh mutz, ham, roasted red pepper, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper on a round soft roll.
2. Central Grocey muff
as me next week and these 2 might flip flop
3. now defunct John White special from Nooley's.

Well, right now my favorite is the one I had for lunch. The steak sandwich at Inga's. It was good and messy. Got the chile pepper sauce all over my workout shirt!
My current favorite sandwich to make at home is grilled cheese with bacon.

Sliced Pepperoni and Genoa Salami on French Bread. Add Cheddar and/or Swiss Cheese, red onion, mustard and olives.
I'll buy a third pound of each meat at the deli and a pack of sliced cheese. I buy two 12 inch loaves that resemble French Bread (I live in Memphis) and add it all together.
Add some Potato Sticks or Baked Lays and I'm ready for football!

wow, that's tough. how do you rate a chili cheese dog over a bacon sammich? or a shrimp poboy?
i would say, though, that my favorite is a turkey and cornbread dressing with giblet gravy on a brown and serve roll sammich, about 3 or 4 hours after thanksgiving dinner. that one is hard to beat. i look forward to that more than thanksgiving dinner.
