Manny Randazzo or Haydel's for me, as well as the Tastee Donuts one for the old school style. I prefer either plain or cream cheese filling. Rouses has a decent king cake if you have a quick craving and don't feel like getting the others, but I find I need to microwave it slightly for best results.

Randazzo's with the granulated sugar (have to ask for it when ordering, doenst cost extra). Screw the icing

Finally had a Randazzo, tastes very similar to Antoine's. Don't have to deal with the crowd at Antoine's, so I will stick to that as my favorite.
