What is this pan designed for? It is heavier than it looks and has a nonstick interior. There is no brand name stamped in the bottom.

Looks like one of those pseudo woks from maybe 20 years ago so those with poor Asian cooking skill could feel like pros at home.
Woks are made for high heat (gas) and rounded bottoms to force most heat to the smallest surface area.
These things were made to use on cooktops (electric) and had a flat bottom for same. Needless to say they were poor imitations and did not do well in the marketplace.
That is my best thought.
