That Green Sauce

Not a salsa but I dip it like one. It's awesome.

I prefer the fresh salsa over canned. If you are in Austin, you have to try Ana's.

Their hot version is the best IMO.

Ms. Renfro's Habanero

Mrs. Renfro's Habanero, Hot and and Jalapeno are my go to threesome. All good, all for different reasons.

I tried their Ghost Pepper and it was too spicy. One of those so spicy that you can't enjoy it, and I love spicy food.

Hell on the Red is one of my favorites. I used to buy it at Albertson's, but haven't seen it since the remodel. Where can I buy it now in Baton Rouge?

Mateo’s

This was the only quality product I found in a can while living in LA. It is solid.

Pretty sure it’s available at Calandro’s on Perkins.

Tried Clint’s medium tonight. Good flavor overall, but really watery.

I dislike the canned ones, I usually go to the fridge section and get something like this, Food City brand, but most of these types taste better.

You’re on the right path.

Shelf stable ones are garbage.

If any of y’all have sprouts, get this brand in the deli. Best store bought I’ve ever had. The dragon lips is so damn good.

They have Julio's salsa at Robert's Fresh Market in New Orleans.

Matteo's is the best though

Julio’s is damn good for a store bought salsa. If you’ve never had it, the keep it in the refrigerated sections. Their habanero is probably my favorite. Kylitos is also good, it’s made up in the Texas Panhandle. They have several to choose from, fire roasted being my favorite.

I'm a Cousin's girl. Best store bought salsa IMO. The Fresh Market brand medium and hot are a second & third. Luckily, TFM sells Cousins; it is a no brainer.
