We enjoy French Market Bistro pretty regularly. It is convenient though.

Louisiana State Police Cafeteria. The best chefs in the Pelican State are incarcerated.

Umami is fantastic. Cong definitely knows what he's doing.

Also Parrain's and Rama and I know it's been there for ages but I still love Ruth's Chris.

Jubans takes over for Sammy’s as the most overrated restaurant in town.

As far as Italian, Nino’s is solid but I wouldn’t say that they’re “hands down” the best and it’s not close — Gino’s and Diguilio Bros. are both very good as well.

9 Dragon Noodle House has surpassed Omi for best Chinese.

Maison Lacour and Umami are the two best overall.

Not the best restaurant in town but I had a very good oyster po-boy at Jed's this weekend. Gumbo was good too:

Mansur's is our favorite. Has been for many years. Top notch food and 1st class service with a very comfortable ambience. Never disappoints

What did you order at Omi? Lee's Asian Fusion in Watson has a similar menu.
