I was there with my dad in 03 for the US Open at Olympia Fields. Can't remember much about the pizza but I'll never forget how cool of a place it was.

When I visited Louisiana for the very first time, it was Baton Rouge. My host family took me to Pastime and they swore that it's the greatest pizza on earth. I think it might have been my first restaurant meal in Louisiana. I had to nod and agree with them that it was the GOAT.

I flew in from Chicago.

Five Points Pizza in Nashville is just my type. I love thin foldable pizza. Domenica is my favorite "different" pizza. I'm not huge on deep dish, but I won't turn my nose up at any pizza.

I'll be in Brooklyn with nothing to do on Sunday so I'll probably get a slice of the real deal while wandering around.

Hi LL. Haven't seen your name in a while.

It is a real pleasure to walk in, step up to a counter in the Bronx and a moment later have a slice in your hand, all folded and ready to attack.

Not sure, but my favorite right now is my own:

3-day fermented in fridge pizza dough.
Sauce my wife makes by cooking down cream, shallots, and garlic.
Prosciutto.
Mushrooms.
Fresh mozzarella.
Cooked at 550 F on a steel in the oven for 4-5 minutes. Wish I had wood fired oven, but I don't.

DeLuca's in Hot Springs. Local made Italian sausage. Thin crust. Awesome.

Make a reservation if you go for dinner, so they will save you some dough. It also has limited days open, so check ahead.

Luigi's Pizzeria in Houston about 4 years ago, apparently the quality has declined with the popularity. Best pizza I have ever had including my 1 year living close to NYC. I am still searching for a better pie

I really like run of the mill loaded toppings, cheesy, broke dick honky pizza. Well made Johnny's, S'barro mall pizza, Famous Famiglia Airport pizza or even the Hunts Bro gas station pizza will suit me fine. I'm far from a pizza expert and don't really have a desire to become one. As long as I stay a step or two ahead of M Dawg I good. I've eaten Domenica a few times, Frank's in Shreveport and a few fancier wood oven places on the east coast like the James Beard winning Hog fan has slaved at. They're ok. But deep down I'm an unrefined Irish/Kraut via Richland parish. Those places are kinda lost on me.

I'm not some pizza connoisseur, but Landini's pizza in San Diego in their Italian district was awesome. I went full fatass and ate there 3 times that week. Just a random internet pic but this is usually what i got.
