I want one shipped to Oklahoma in time for Mardi Gras.
Gambino's is damn expensive costing nearly 50 bucks for the one I want.
Any other recommendations?

Whatever you do, don't search!

Randazzo's
Definitely the way to go... But you'll still be paying $50 at least. Then again, I imagine you'll be paying that regardless of where you get it from.

Haydels has a great selection and they add a bunch of mardi gras stuff into their shipments.
Yes, it will be expensive due mostly to overnight shipping.
Rouses might have something that cost less.

C'mon man. I was looking for people's opinions based on which cakes are good.

Sounds like Randazzo's is the answer.
And it appears ill be paying $50 no matter until I learn to make the damn things myself.

I second Haydels
There is a thread asking like every other day. You will honestly find more opinions if you did search

I use Haydel's. I use them for client gifts for Christmas, as well. Honestly, I like the Cajun Kringle better than any king cakes, but there's are good.

They've all gotten ridiculously expensive in recent years. Pick one up at the supermarket and put it in a USPS pay-one-price box if you want to save $25. Just don't get a filled cake.

And you don't think peoples opinions have been discussed in the previous threads you would be searching? I can guarantee a search of this topic would give you info to read on for days. Every year at this time the same subject is discussed over and over. Kind of like starting a thread asking for a suggestion of a good sushi restaurant in BR.
