Bacon, and my wife is starting to get on me about making some more. I used to get pork belly at Costco, but moved across the lake. I need to find a good source over here now.

Banh Mi sandwiches. I julienne and pickle daikon and carrot (Do Chua) which keeps for a couple of months, cilantro, Sriracha aioli, cucumber, Maggi seasoning, and the protein is usually cha lua, which is a Vietnamese bologna.

I would guess this item is purchased more than 98% of the time by 'Mericans but delicious and very easy to make at home.

My cutting board as of just hours ago before I even saw this thread. Be very jealous.

I'd love this recipe.

It's not exactly on point for the the thread, but my wife has started growing her own celery.

Started making large amounts of stock and marinara sauce and freezing them. The stock is so superior to the ones in stores that I feel like an idiot for not doing this sooner.

I tried that, but it takes up so much room in the freezer.

Ketchup.

The difference between store bought and homemade is incredible. Plus a shite ton less sugar.
