I avoid referring to any meal as dinner, it can cause confusion as to the time it will actually be consumed.

No. A coke is Coca Cola. Although it was perfectly acceptable to use the term for New Coke, as well.

And Pepsi shouldnt exist.

My grandparents were farmers. That's what they called their meals except they had breakfast at 6:00 and another lunch at 9:00. They had breakfast, dinner, and supper for their main meals. They also ate morning lunch, afternoon lunch, and night lunch.
