What are your thoughts on Cherry Cordials?

My grandmaw used to get me a box every year for Christmas, even though she knew I didn’t like them. Never understood it, one of life’s great mysteries.

Cheap ones are indeed gross, but if you can find quality handmade ones w good chocolate, they’re a treat.

Similar story here. My wife has an uncle that used to get all the girls a box of these for Christmas, and all the boys a cheap pocketknife. Sometimes I lucked up and he had found a deal on a legit knife, but most of the time it was something to keep in my car just to have a knife. My wife hated the Cherry Cordials, so I got to eat her gift too. Now that all the "kids" are adults with kids of their own, he quit buying them for everyone. It was a sad Christmas when I didn't get my cheap knife and box of chocolates.

This. Its only the cheap ones that taste like sugary cough syrup, the decent ones and better are legit.
My mom buys me the two layer box yearly, and I easily eat the first layer in a day and try to nurse the next.
