Pineapple

Throw it in whole, peeled, cut into pieces? Might try this next week.

For unusual stuff we do the cheap red hot dogs, brussels sprouts, and a can or two of green beans.

I've always done mushrooms and a can of green beans, aside from the usual list.

Just recently I've been putting asparagus, and after we cut the fire and are soaking whatever seafood, I place deer tamales in a metal strainer right on top but sunken in the water. Holy hell those are awesome.

Do y'all drain the canned veggies or just poke holes and go with it?

Surprised no one mentioned carrots yet. I introduced my wife to this and she will comb through the boil pile looking for every last one now

Throw it in whole. I put a few slits in it beforehand, and throw it in as soon as I cut the fire for the soak. Slice it however you want afterwards. So good, when it touches your lips!

I've had a turkey leg. Not sure if it was pre smoked. Damn good. I've seen rabbit too.
