Was gonna make baked fish. My wife said that she is on vacation and wanted to eat out. Sent her to pick up Chinese food! She’s getting baked fish tomorrow night! :) It was good!

Sunday is my birthday, so we started the weekend at Uncle T’s.
Oysters, fried shrimp, and donut bread pudding. Good bye low carb!!

The chicken is from frozen from Costco. Better than I expected, although I had to bake it longer than directed. Not dry, tender.

Love a good Chinese takeout night. Haven’t done that in a while.
I was going to cook a meal from our meal kit but we were both burnt out for tonight so we tried several packed restaurants and finally had luck at Soji.
Dumplings
Ceviche salad
Seared tuna roll
Sunkissed roll
Seared scallops with veggies and curry sauce
Cabernet and my favorite — a mai tai

Are y’all all posting from your phones? I was sure someone would’ve noticed my new signature. Someone declared me queen yesterday!

Was planning on going to City Pork but it was slammed so we went to Carraba’s
Ordered a dirty martini and the server brought me a gin and coke

The waitress asked me if I wanted the gin and coke or should she get me what I actually ordered
Then she left the gin and coke to go get my martini so I got to taste it.
I do not recommend gin and cokes

Or gin and coke icees, which I learned at 16 when none of us knew what to mix gin with, so we stopped for icees.

Haven’t had it, don’t think I will and certainly won’t recommend it! :)
