Smoked chicken on the Kamado. I used a quick brine and it was on point. Also seasoned one with traeger fin and feather seasoning and one with Kinder Butter and garlic seasoning. Both were delicious.

Stepdad went fishing and fried up his catch for us. Striped bass, white perch and bream.

Fresh cut fries and squash, too. Homemade tartar sauce.

Vodka waters.

Under the influence of lots of social media posts, tried out birria tacos tonight. Came out really good.

I’ve got way to many leftovers to be cooking but I had a four pack of thighs that I needed to cook. Panko encrusted baked chicken thighs, oven fries and some slaw. It’s not fried but not bad. :)

That looks great. I wish I could like Brussel Sprouts. I just can’t do it. I have tried so many times. They are probably the only veggie that I don’t like.

Props to Darla Hood for this recipe.

Smoked then braised short rib with a blueberry sauce made from the au jus. Over mashed potatoes. Carrots and bacon garlic sprouts.

It was great! I dont even eat plain blueberries, but the kids do. And if both kids clean their plates, that's a successful meal in my house.

Sauce had a good sweet/savory contrast with the au jus, balsamic vinegar, blueberries, and honey.
