re: WFDT
Your salad isn’t in a bowl?

MD, we seem to have traded eating habits. I’m eating tots and you’re low carb.

Okay, thanks. I searched (but I see I made donuts possessive and not plural) the term, but nothing showed up. Now I see what they are.

Sorry TF, I finally figured out your question (Duh!).

Romaine lettuce, sliced turkey, sliced ham, sliced salami, a little tomato, provolone cheese, ranch dressing, salt, and lots of black pepper.

A keto dinner treat.

I haven’t had a deli salad like that in years. I should do that soon.

re: WFDT
Came across a video for scrambled eggs. The recipe dated from 1755. I didn't cook them over an open fire, but I did use the technique of adding the eggs, adding some cream, and then adding a big chunk of butter and cooking it slowly, whisking it the whole time and never letting them get hard or brown.

I served them on flour tortillas instead of toast and they were very good. The butter and cream made them taste almost cheesy and the texture was perfect.

It was very simple, and very quick. It was also very good.

I’m having a Stromboli calzone and picking up my wife some Alfredo and polenta dish with chicken and a wedge salad

No worries. I was genuinely curious what the salad was made of. I am doing keto as well so I'm looking for anything new to us.

Dressing homemade or bottled?

Bottled dressing from Sam's. If you browse the dressing section at the grocer, there are several good options. Take a look at Skinny Girl brand for low carb.

Good luck with keto. Is is working great for us.

Same to you. Started at 275, down to 231 this morning over about three and a half months. Goal is 185. Wife's lost about 25 pounds along the way too.
