I'm on my laptop, so when I scrolled down I was surprised at the long photo for some reason. Can't beat a chili cheese coney, even without the bun. Used the last of the smoked pork butt to make quesadillas.

Done with corn harvest and peanuts are a week to ten days out. And it’s raining tonight. So I though to myself, Enos, let’s go for a steak.
But alas, I open the food board and read TulaneLSU’s love letter to Waffle House....which led to his top ten dishes at Waffle House. So the craving could not be turned back and I had a Texas sausage egg and cheese plate scattered, smothered, and covered and a blueberry waffle....and lots of sass from Girlfriend (sorry mother) because we didn’t go somewhere nicer.
She had a patty melt and secretly loved it.

I made rice and gravy for us here tonight. Sides were honey roasted sweet potatoes and a cheesy broccoli Normandy.

Bought an ice chest of shrimp to put in the freezer. I saved a few pounds and boiled them for supper tonight along with potatos, sausage, mushrooms and baby carrots.
