Fun fact: there are 20,000 Cambodian Americans in Long Beach, the most anywhere outside of Asia.
I didn't know this. A Cambodia town in Long Beach?! That's awesome.

You've been there LL. The fish grill is pretty much right on the border of Cambodia town and Belmont heights. I live in "the circle". Much like a lot of cities LB has very different neighborhoods all in very close proximity to each other

Had fried catfish and onion rings for lunch and suffered all afternoon. So lentils cooked with brown rice and garlic (mujadara) and an omeprazole.

Damn, fried fish and o-rings gives you heartburn?
Mine is triggered by alcohol.

Boneless ribs in olive oil, ghost pepper salt tinged, paprika, fresh ground black pepper, Chicago steak rub, balsamic vinegar, Japanese soy sauce, chopped onion.
After an hour, they were in oven slow cook.
Hour later, pulled them, broiled them both sides quickly.
Made sauce of sauce from slow cook, adding dabs of balsámico and pinot noir, and Himalayan salt, plus a bit of flour to thicken.
Ribs received this, and were served with 60% of it (rest on side in gravy boat).
Tortilla española a la vasca ( with green pepper).
Caesar salad remnants enhanced with garden greens, radish, broad leaf parsley, lemon drops, proper sherry vinegar and thick EVOO.
Garlic chapata.
Young Californian reserve pinot noir aged seven years with Peugeot key.
Sublime Sunday.
