Lazy Saturday evening: Costco chicken tortilla soup, guacamole and chips. Slice of toasted brioche with honey for dessert.

I like garlic. I had a container of peeled garlic I needed to do something with. I found this recipe for melted garlic. Why not


Beginning at 250F

After 3 hours

On a reverse seared New York Strip

The garlic was so soft and sweet. I'm saving the infused olive oil and the leftovers for some crusty bread in the near future.

I made hot tamales using Alton brown’s recipe from good eats. Pretty damn good
I used the instant pot to cook down the meat and used pork butt and brisket, then back in there after rolling to steam so it didn’t take very long at all
