Slow cooker roast
Posted on 4/15/19 at 6:44 pm to USEyourCURDS
Roast beef poboys with debris gravy. Carrots and potatoes on the side, as well as Cajun Crawtators. No real poboy bread up here but we did the best we could.
Vodka waters.

Swig and Swine in Charleston
Ordered brisket, burnt ends, smoked pork belly. They messed up the order so I got pulled pork initially and they added the smoked pork belly. With sides of collard greens and brisket & beans. Way too much to eat, but it was worth trying. Everything was very good, but the burnt ends were cooked a little too much for my liking.
Wife had brisket and pulled pork with collards and corn pudding.
Local beers to wash everything down.

4.5oz onion diced 51 cal 1g prot 12 g carb 10g net carb 2g fiber
1 tbsp evoo 119 cal 14g fat
4 tbsp of butter 400 cal 44g fat
2 oz philadelphia cream cheese 202 cal 4g pro 20g fat 2g carb
2.5 oz hormel bacon bits 253cal 30 prot 10g fat
2 cups heavy whipping cream 1893cal 189Fat 32 carb
1 can quartered artichoke hearts 70cal 5g protein 2g fiber 14carb 12 net
14oz shirataki noodles
Combine butter and olive oil over med high, saute onion until soft, then add garlic. Saute for 2-3 minutes, add bacon bits and stir in well. Add mushrooms & artichoke hearts, then add cream cheese and allow to melt. Add the heavy whipping cream and allow to thicken until it reaches the consistency you want.
Fold in crawfish tails and fat. Allow to gently heat and serve over shirataki noodles.(I have learned over time to place the shirataki in boiling water for 2-3 minutes then drain well. Seems to improve the texture and taste.
