Twenty more minutes before the homemade lasagna comes out the oven. Italian twist bread and salad on the side. Maybe I'll fix me a rum and coke while I wait.
Someone drank the last coke so I'm having a lil egg nog.Lol.......

Four cheese Preschetta frozen pie for my big Runt, most expensive baby formula on the market for the small Runt, leftover tacos washed down with Early Times bourbon for me, and it looks like Pinot for the gorgeous one that keeps us all together.

Alright, so I've come to conclude that lasagna right out of the oven needs to rest the same as a steak does coming off the grill. Not that it really matters in flavor but we do taste with our eyes as well as the mouth.
The lasagna right out of the oven.
Warmed Italian twist bread from Leblanc's/Rouse's
I was starving and chose not to wait and served myself. Here I discovered that it WILL collapse when not set.
Oh, that's some green bean casserole I made a small pan of the other day and stuck in the freezer. I thought it would be a good side with lasagna. It was!
I'll get the recipe posted later.

I think lasagna is a better "next day" meal.

Pretty sad dinner, wife and child already ate so I grabbed a couple of those Costco dinner hot dogs and broiled them, cut them up and poured some farmers market sriracha sauce over them, lol.

Frozen chickpea samosas and cilantro chutney (sukhi's brand, from a box), ice water, ginger Jo-Jo cookie. Too busy to eat.

Looks great to me. I'm not a big fan of lasagna that holds up in a square when cut. I like it oozy and cheesy with a lotta ricotta. I actually could live without the noodles.
I've been craving it lately. May make it with just Italian sausage.
