Had dinner at Prayer Meeting tonight. Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, purple hull peas, Sister Schubert rolls, coconut cake, water and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie.
Dinner was followed by Chapter 12 of Acts (Peter on death row in prison)and then choir practice.
We had a lot to cover in choir tonight because we start working on the spring choir program in two weeks and need to put worship anthems for the next few weeks to bed asap to devote more practice time to the spring program. I think the program will be the evening of April 24 if you are in town that night.
May I tell you something about the FBC bass section? We were great. When we sing to our full potential you can burp right in the middle of a measure and some tenor will look over and say, "I had no idea you could maintain perfect pitch that low. All you need to do at that point is shrug and humbly nod in the affirmative.
