Damn. Between yours tonight and the photo 4miles posted of his that he cooked a couple weeks ago -- I am really wanting to eat that.

Went to Luna in Lake Charles with some friends. I had grilled red snapper with a crawfish cream sauce and a side of cream spinach. I haven't been there in about a year but I'll be going back sooner than that. The snapper was good but that creamed spinach was the best I've had in a long time.

Nah, just right. Probably raises a few degrees once you bring it in. It's a nice smokey medium rare, not bloody or nothing. I've boot leathered way more ducks than I've got right. Best to err on the rare side

The wife was in a veggie state of mind.

Purple hull peas with cornbread to soak up the liquor and Baked sweet potatoes.



and a mess of the best fried okra we have had this year.



The temperature is hot and life in the landmass is good.

That's a nice summer plate of grub, boss. The plate is so nice and neat too. no juices running into other juices.

The plan is sauteed shrimp in a lemon cream sauce. Mine will go over salmon, my husband's will go over pasta.
