Moroccan meatballs with chickpeas and preserved lemon. Probably do some brown rice with cilantro to go with it.

Doing a mess of wings for the Runt , too.

Pan-roasted swordfish with peppercorn butter and a caper-lemon-wine-garlic-parsley sauce.
Salad.
Hushpuppies.
Maybe a vegetable. Snacking on cheese and grapes on the patio now.

Found some good looking porterhouse steaks at local grocer. Only about 1 and a 1/4" inch think but will cook very fast. Mushrooms cooked in garlic butter sauce. Baked potato and garden salad.
Sounds like we'll have lunch for tomorrow too.

When did ground up, dead cow meat get so spensive? Was gonna grill burgers, went to store to get some meat, got home, took stuff outta the sacks and realized i can't afford to eat burgers and I better save it for even worse times.
Decided to throw couple big smoked hocks, a ham bone and a sack of red beans in a big pot, on high, no soak, no mercy. Hot water cornbread will be on standby.

I thawed two packs of tenderized venison steaks Friday evening. They were sliced up and have been soaking in an Alegro/ diet coke sauce since yesterday morning. I've got 15 or so pieces bacon wrapped with cream cheese and sliced jalaps for the wife. Junior is going to be presented a bacon wrapped chicken breast with a bbq sauce baste from the grill. Whether he eats it or not will be determined in a bit. I'm taking the balance of the venison strips and making fajitas for me. I've got a pot of charro beams simmering now and look forward to my presentation. It will certainly beat last night's shite show, regardless of what I do.
