Tater Tots
Haven't had a Tater Tot in weeks. No Sam's hotdogs either. No hamburgers. No beer. No wine. No hard liquor. No bread in the house. Micro levels starch. No pizza. Very little beef. Mostly chicken, fish, healthy vegetables. Lots of water.
So, no I'm not working on a fruit smoothie photo spread.
Just working my way back to fighting weight.

Boiled a couple pounds of shrimps for me and the GF. I guess I forgot or didn't realize that it was so easy to throw down some boiled shrimp, especially when doing a smaller amount. It was cheap, relatively fast, and easy clean up. Had some hogs head cheese on saltines too so now I'm happy as a lark and laying on the couch enjoying a couple Abita Spring IPAs.

I tried a new pop-up at the Joint tonight. It's Mexican themed, Holymole.
Had an excellent pork soup, tamales, queso fundido, smoked turkey leg with mole sauce, and chicken and chorizo with rice.
It's two chef's, one from Peche the other from Cochon. Tonight was their first try, but the food was good and the Joint was packed. I hope they keep having the pop-up.
