Cold, salted watermelon. With a couple Old Forrester 100 proof Old Fashioneds and a really nice Padron 6000 Maduro torpedo…

Grilled burgers and dogs. Oven fries. Couple Lagunitas. Good stuff on a summer evening.

Tried my hand at the viral Japan sizzling cheeseburger.

Happy with the results. Béchamel cheese sauce, 2 smashburger patties, bacon, slice of American cheese, and added a little Waffle House sauce as spread on 2 Brioche toasted buns.

Brought my wife out to Texas De Brazil for a celebratory meal, last night! She’s retiring. Kinda hard to get full plate photos when they’re cutting chunks of meat off of skewers and throwing it on your plate as they walk by. I still have the meat sweats! :)
