I had a Dr's appointment this morning so I seasoned and seared a 3lb chuck roast and set it to cook slowly in a crock pot Mississippi Roast style.
Later this afternoon I shredded the roast and and strained some of the gravy for French Dip sandwiches. After the appointment this morning I went to Norma's in Kenner and grabbed some of their Cuban loaves of bread for the sandwiches tonight.
The roast shredded with some of the gravy on it.
Strained French dip gravy.
Warmed and slightly toasted Cuban bun.
Served with American fries.
Tasty French Dip sandwich!!!
