Went to Sazon Latin Grill for lunch today and had a Cuban sandwich and fries - only ate half. Had the leftovers for dinner.

Stopped on the way home from work and picked up some sausage, chicken thighs and pork butt to cut up for a 10 gallon pot of jambalaya that I’m gonna cook tomorrow. Threw some chicken, offset on the grill, to cook while I cut up the meat. Had leftover green beans and fake crab salad to go with it. Gotta get my steps in on the treadmill now. :)

Blaze, where’d you get the blood boudin? Not too many meat markets make it anymore.

Maybe if we can’t get it repaired tomorrow, we’ll do that.

Bought the blood boudin from the new Bourgeois Meat Market in Houma, 2 blocks off Hwy 90. Was very surprised to see it available. Only other place I’ve seen it - Hebert’s Slaughterhouse in Abbeville. Hebert’s is better than Bourgeois

I’ve never had it. I’d probably give it a taste. Maybe.

Bourgeois BB tasted like regular boudin , I ate 2 small/medium links no problem. Hebert’s is very very rich tasting with a unique flavor. I can only eat 1/2 a link as it’s very filling.

Horrible. We have an extra bedroom you, the hubby, and your nine kids can use until things get better in December.

Seriously, Take care, this heat is nothing to shrug off and hope it gets cooler at your house real quick.
