Grilling some chicken. I’ll have a dozen oysters on the half shell, too.

Just me tonight. Was going to grill some pork chops, but then I remembered I had potatoes. So I made mash potatoes and did the chops in the cast iron so I could make gravy.

Figured the damage was done, so added a piece of bread and covered it in gravy too.

And a Diet Coke!

Got up and started a fire around 5:00, this morning. Threw a small pork shoulder on. Had chicken legs, sausage, two kinds of slaw, some chips and corn on the cob. Straight up bottled bbq sauce cause it’s Father’s Day and I didn’t want to work to hard. Fed my bartender. :)

Friend,

Mother dropped me at AMC this evening while she had a church event to which I was not invited. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they are selling AMC MegaBag popcorn that are just $15. Mother only gave me $30, so it fit well within my budget. I asked the attendant how many fl oz of popcorn it was and she did not know, so she had to call the manager to find out. Apparently, this did not please the people waiting in line behind me because, as they said, "Our movie has already started. Can you just move along?"

I apologized and offered to move to the side, but the attendant said her register was already locked with my order of a drink and popcorn. The manager informed me that it was 600 fluid ounces of popcorn, or approximately three large buckets of their popcorn. She also informed me that it comes with a 10 ounce bottle of butter.

About halfway through Transformers, I had reached the unpopped seeds and knew it was time for a refill. I am an AMC Stubs member, so I assumed, like with the large popcorns, refills would be free. I was most disappointed when I found out that refills are not included in the MegaBag. I was really kicking myself because I needed some more popcorn, but I did not have enough money for another bag. If only I had just brought my 2023 bucket.

While at the counter I also noticed they were selling Optimus Prime popcorn buckets. For $50, you get a piece of plastic like this that does not transform, but you do get 100 fl oz of popcorn and a 24 oz drink. If I had the money, I probably would have gotten it. Ebay was the source of the below picture because I did not have the time to take a good picture of the one on the display.

I think I will get a late night salad with some of Grandfather's tomatoes tonight.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

P.S. Auzach, I hope you checked the weight of those king crab legs outside the package compared to the weight listed on the bag, especially if you bought them from Sam's. Too many places are including water/ice and packaging weight now, robbing us all.

That should not be unless it was an ECW meeting.

I did not. Will do in the future. Thanks friend.

They were bought at Kroger. They have them for $24.99 a Lb until Tuesday.
