Never had them with rice crispies in them, sounds interesting. I concur on the extra cayenne. I love the things, either in cookie form or in the "straw" form. My sister has a great recipe. I will see if she will pass it on and I will post it.

Teeball...so cute for the first few games and then excruciatingly painful to get through the next few years until pitching starts. That's when it gets fun (except for the parents-some of them need to be banned from the ballparks).

This is Jacobs first year. It is called "blastball". I have had a lot of fun with it so far. He has a game tomorrow afternoon.

I know what you mean about the parents. That's why I will NOT coach after live pitch.

Maybe some beer, maybe nothing for dinner.

Glass, look in my post history at what I had for lunch?

It was so amazing.

I just saw that you were the last post and was coming to comment. That sounds like the second best lunch possible, behind a lunch and dinner Friday at Galatoire's.

I'm sure he's on his way to being a pro. I've been to a gazillion of those little people games. It's slooooooooowwwwwwww. It's funny when one of them suddenly needs to go to the bathroom, though. A race to the finish to get them there and they just leave the middle of the field.

There are heathen people at ballparks, though. They scare me especially the women watching their daughters playing softball. OMG! It's like they let a bunch of women prisoners out just to watch the game.

Dawg, the rice crispy thing is good. They have no flavor, but they add the best crunch to the little cookies. I just throw them in after I mixed all the other ingredients.

No alcohol at those games and it's needed DESPERATELY! You can try to sneak in some frozen dacquiries, though.

Lots of people eating sunflower seeds and playing on their phones.

Beer at Little League games makes NOLA the best place in America. On the weekends they used to fire up the frozen Margaritas and have a choice of red or white wine as well.

Gino's, I suppose.

Was supposed to be Beausoleil, but it closes at 9 on Thursdays and I don't like feeling rushed out of a restaurant.

I killed the elusive snake today at lunch. There actually was one, a banded water snake about 4ft long. I didn't want to kill it, but 83 year old women get the final say....

The Bible has entrenched an irrational fear of snakes in most Judeo/Christians.
