Smoking a chuck. Ideas for a sauce to serve with it? I just eat it but the wife likes sauces and such.

Last night I made a sauce for steak / Herbs, lemon juice, olive oil like a dressing and made it creamy with horseradish sauce. I loved the horseradish addition.
Something similar with more horseradish sauce might be good with the beef. Maybe less acidic.
Might not be the flavor you are going for but it was on my mind from last night.

We've got a rack of ribs on the smoker, corn on the cob on the grill, BBQ beans on the stove, and garlic bread.
Our moms live in a different state and we don't have any kids, we just like to cookout on the weekends. It's hot as shite today, though.

I planned to cook a ground veal manicotti this evening. I had no idea manicotti pasta is an extinct item these days when I planned the meal.

Well I forgot to do in progress and finished pics, but it was good. Ended up doing a mushroom red wine thing on the side, she loves that and it worked. Also did some diced roasted sweet potatoes with parmesan.
Chimichurri was the suggestion that I wanted to do, next time I'll plan for it. We had a pile of open wine bottles so the mushrooms were easy.

Baked a ham, red beans, rice, blue box Mac & cheese, salad and bacon, cheddar biscuits. It was also my MIL’s birthday so we had cake. Happy Mother’s Day! ??

Whipped up a nice garlic/lemon butter baste/dip. Baby momma approved.
