Come on, man. If any people can sympathize with victims of disasters it should be us. There is no reason to minimize or joke about such things. You aren't like this IRL.

Seriously, Glass. There's some low stuff in this thread and it's not humorous at all. It's just a downright shame and embarrassing.

I honestly sensed humor and sarcasm in the OP, sorry if I didn't realize the serverity of the disaster.

And I hate when people play the K card from either side.

Damn, I missed this whole story. Tornado up there? I only heard about Little Rock.

Sorry to hear that and good luck!

Grilled salmon tonight with mixed veggies. I made a sweet and spicy soy reduction to drizzle over the fish. Soy, brown sugar, honey, and creole mustard.

ETA: In Wises' defense, we haven't received much information about the storm in N. LA down here.

The OP had a touch of sarcasm with the "Funroe" title.

Have seen photos of your area Balls and have big concerns the folks there. It hurts when buildings fall, but they can be rebuilt. Hard to deal with hurt people.

Can hear heavy rumbling thunder from that same storm about five miles from our house (to the west) coming this way. Will get very wet here in a short time.

That's a shame. Hate it when weather takes things out. Scary stuff. Hope no one was hurt.

brah, I appreciate your 1st comment, I really do. but, IMO, he has no "defense" when you make ANY statement in bad taste about the folks, their livelihoods and their homes of anywhere, anytime, but especially about their home state and an area that has been a refuge for many from all over our great state.

period.

I'm a jokester so I was just playing along with the OP. Once I got the F you and the K card thrown in my face I did a google search. Thankfully it doesn't look extremly bad from what Ive found and these guys here seem to be posting and eating dinner so I would assume the F&DB family is safe.

I just Googled and only found a little bit about the weather on The Star website. Were some of these people really comparing a cold front to Katrina?

Yeah. The biggest bird flipper in here is starting threads about homemade salad dressing in the middle of this. I'm going to assume he's not posting at a Red Cross shelter.

Couple of my brother in laws buildings took a beating I'm told. Cleaning up after those things are a pain in the arse. Good luck to all.

I had a foie gras and blackberry jam sandwich with a glass of leftover Beau Vigne 2011 Cult and a bottle of water.

I can't say anything bad because y'all might say
