Wfdt - 3/19

Threw a small pork belly in a cure, a little over a week ago, pulled it, rinsed it and let it dry for a day or so and put a little smoke on it. Chilled it in the fridge and sliced. My little meat slicer wouldn’t handle the slab so I sliced it with a knife. Cut a little thick and not as crispy as it would’ve been if thinner but pretty darn good. Sliced, fried and a BLT. :)

$1 street tacos in Burrito...ahem, I mean Bonita Springs, FL on a beautiful afternoon. Dodging the landscapers on foot/bike in the traffic circle is always fun. We got a chicken tamale, which was awesome, and a chorizo taco. Unfortunately, it isn't THamale Thursday yet (say it out loud, like Taco Tuesday, the lisp on Tamale is hilarious to us).

Hideway Pepperoni thin crust Pizza. There is a Hideway in Norman OK if you all ever travel in for a game. Hideways is one of my favorite pizza places.
