They are the nicest people in town. Love supporting them. In the 12 years I’ve been going, my food is always tied up waiting with the utensils and the soy sauce and everything already bagged. And my order has never, ever been wrong. Even Chick-fil-A doesn’t have that kind of track record for me.

It’s a well run joint with good food. We hit it every Sunday after game days for a decade. The ole gal at the register smiled broadly every time we came in. She knew her rent was made....

I’ve been loving fresh corn this year. Creamed some the other day with coconut milk instead of regular milk.
Came out awesome. I used one pot to brown the chicken thighs and then cream the corn, so it was sweet and savory/fatty from all the chicken fat.
Only thing I’d add next time is the splash of heavy cream I forgot about and some fresh lime juice at the end.
