Man we have tried probably close to a dozen places around Katy none have been slightly above mediocre.

Any recommendations on good pizza around Cinco Ranch/Katy area?

This is my wife’s answer every time we drive in to town.

For OP, 2 different spots to try and they both are different styles both alittle further south down Grand Parkway.

Brooklyn Pizzeria
Lamonte’s

Have you tried the pizza from Palazzo’s at the Beltway and Briarforest?

I am not from Katy and have not tried many of the places, but I have been to the Grimaldi’s there and it was just like the other chain Grimaldi’s which is to say pretty good.

Pallazos is the best place I have found in Houston. Use to work in the building by it.

The one in La Canterra is the best we have found around Katy.

Elro, Rosie Cannonball, Ostia are the best I’ve personally had…Gold Tooth Tony’s was just ok…Nonno‘s, Betelgeuse, and Via 313 when it opens are on the list to try.

I had a double take when I thought you said Palazzos in La Centerra. You were talking about Grimaldi’s right? My daughter will lose it if Palazzos opens in La Centerra.

Betelgeuse is great for what it is. Glad they opened in Montrose.

Correct, Grimaldi's. I wish Palazzos moved in there.

Fuzzys on Mason Rd. I haven't had it for many years, but I used to be good.

It's interesting that people are saying good things about Grimaldi's. We've tried them a couple times and were very disappointed.

Sapore makes a very good Detroit-style pizza.

A newish place called Benny's is getting rave reviews for NY-style, but I haven't had it yet.

Rosati's used to be my go-to, but they've gone a little downhill. They may have righted the ship without my knowledge. Hopefully they have new management.

Rosa's and Big Z's are both worth checking out.

Just realized I've never tried Fuzzy's...might have to do that.

I think Star pizza occasionally does a pizza buffet for lunch, maybe Tuesdays?

Came to post this. I haven't been there in years but it was always good to me.

Also we used to go to a place called Palio's on Fry Rd, but it looks like it's now on 99.

Patios was sold from the original Italians to some Arabs a few months back.

We like Grimaldis in La Centerra but you have to eat it there. Quality drops significantly if you get it to go.

Saw a rec for Rosa's on Mason the other day. Its on my list to check out.

Don't go to Rosas, it is the worst we have had, it's why I made this thread.

Grimaldis is okay in my opinion, but the 2nd best we have found so far.
