Sam's used to sell big bags of bagel chips that were great. Don't know why they stopped selling them as they were a good seller.

Sams and Costco are essentially the same thing

First time I went to a Costco was in DFW. If you had dropped me in there blindfolded, then took it off and asked where I was, I would have been confident it was the Shreveport Sam's. The layout and arrangement of products was remarkably similar.

There are certainly differences apparent on closer inspection, but they must keep an eye on each other.

The Scan and Go app is the best thing they’ve come out with. The worst thing about Sam’s was waiting for the 1 or 2 cashiers and this eliminates that.

I can tell you one thing I avoid at Sam's is the fruit. Bland not sweet..maybe the only fruit I might get are the bananas. The last grapes package I got were moldy. I returned them with no trouble.

Try the Autumn Glory apple which should be coming back in now and only place I’ve seen them is Sams. Taste like caramel and cinnamon apple. Best apple I’ve eaten in a long time.

I have found the members mark TP and paper towels to be better quality than the Kirkland brand ones.

Also, the heavy duty aluminum foil on the big roll is awesome

I keep that on hand most of the time. Great for chili, nachos, soup.

I also like the parm reggiano wedges there.
