Was Kristen Kish a bit schnookered on the last Top Chef episode?

I *think* she's not a drinker, but I definitely don't know for sure. They also gave a drink to Danny, who is Muslim and doesn't do booze OR pork, so it's possible that it was non-alcoholic.

This season has been underwhelming, but Kristen is a gem and has done an amazing job, and I feel like she and Tom have a better relationship than he had with Padma (and I am a Padma superfan)...almost like he respects her more because she's a chef who has both been eliminated AND won...in the same season. She has been in thr trenches and on top.

I don't love a lot of the format changes they made this season, and the editing sucks. I want Savannah to take the whole thing.

She got emotional about the challenge, but I thought it was legit based on her experience. Didn’t pick up any drunk vibe.

I like her as host. The best is when the other diners pussyfoot around in their criticism and she just rips, “It was too salty, overcooked, and unoriginal.” And I don’t think she’s playing that up; she’s just like that.
