Someone mentioned to me that they are building a Walk Ons in Prairieville next door to Frank's off Airline. Anyone knows if that's true?

ETA: It's going to be by Rouses/Neighborhood Walmart further down Airline

Brandon was in my office several weeks back and mentioned looking for property in the Pville area for a location. But not enough time has passed to have that area under construction yet.

Sliders was toast when they opened the door. I feel bad for them, but I went there once a month after opening. BAD.

It is a franchised restaurant and Miles Holley is the franchisee. He sold the Skid Marks.

Tire engineers just rolls off the tongue so much better than Skid-Marks. I didn't think you could come up with a worse name for a business, but they proved me wrong!

Does Pville really have the clientele to keep a walk-ons profitable? Seems like they are pushing the envelope with locations. What do I know...I own zero restaurants

Tire Engineers is a regional automotive chain that bought Skid Marks out last October. It just took this long to finalize and change name.

Skid Marks the name sucked but it was his split from his brother and Treads and Care.

And yes he is a Walk Ons franchisee or a partner in it

Absolutely. Pville is desperate for a good sports bar. Walk Ons would stay packed.

Why is that? I mean I just don't get how you can fail so miserably in restaurant/hospitality and not understand the actions that need to be taken to fix them. Do you the owners just not give a frick or what??

Anything in that Sliders location burns and dies easily. Nothing ever survives there. Walk ons would thrive out in Pville. Would be getting a lot of customers from Gaonzales area and the other smaller surrounding areas so they wouldnt have to drive to BR for Walk ons anymore.
