Cauliflower. Throw it in at the end with the corn and mushrooms

Vegatables, any kind of cased meat, my buddy used to boil whole chickens and then broil them in the oven.

Can of green beans. Take off paper label. Take knife and cut 5-6 holes in can. Put can in boil.

Sweet potato halves are awesome. My friend and I won the best side at the Crawfish Mambo last year. We soaked soft shell crabs in the crawfish water then deep fried them.

Brussels sprouts in a crawfish boil sounds like a recipe for pretty epic gas later on.

If you're the chef, tell them to GTFO and be grateful for hot food.
If you're a guest, tell the chef "just bring out my fricking food."

Wieners but it has to be the cheap red kind that’ll likely kill you if you eat too many.

Perfect for large parties and family-style eating, the menu allows diners to select their protein from a menu that includes items like crawfish (market price), lobster (market price), king crab legs ($36.95/pound), mussels ($10.95/pound), and shrimp ($12.95/pound), plus additional cost fixings like corn, okra, sausage, potatoes and lotus root. Tossed in a plastic bag with the diner’s choice of seasoning: cajun, lemon pepper, garlic or Captain’s Boil (a mix of all three); and level of heat: mild, medium, spicy or fire, the bag is then boiled and served steaming hot, ready to be dumped on the plastic lined table. For those prone to messes – and with bags of seafood, there’s sure to be at least one – tables come equipped with a paper towel roll, bibs and gloves for carefree shelling.

Garlic. Along with crackers. Surprisingly tasty.
A friend of mine will buy 3 or 4 pounds of shrimp. Put a pound or so in the empty crawfish sack and tie it closed. Add them in the last 2-5 minutes of your soak.
