Let me guess, you left a bad review as well? I haven’t been to Truth in a couple years but I thought everything was pretty good. Recently went to J-Bar-M and that was average at best. Maybe you should try there, I can guarantee they will have food at 2 pm on a Saturday.

Just like several other joints in HOU that closed down.
The original Truth BBQ began in Brenham, not Houston. The Brenham location is the quintessential TX BBQ joint.
The Texas BBQ revival hit Houston a little over a decade ago. It's a big place. BBQ is a tough go so there are probably some examples of failed ventures.
But I'm not aware of any top-shelf joints around here closing. Which ones are you thinking of?

It's extremely common that the top BBQ joints in the state run out of certain items 3 hours after open, especially with how popular and busy it can get on the weekends.
